last semester dan new semester

third day of new semester, i've presented my topic. what a big relief. got the topic yesterday and presented it today. powerpoint masih panas macam pisang goreng. setuju?

well, assalamualaikum and holla all. baru berkesempatan nak menulis setelah menguruskan banyak benda. menguruskan urusan dunia dan insyaallah kalau ada berkatnya, mendapat pahala untuk akhirat. first, lets talk about presentation. since  we gonna have practicum this semester, we only need to attend courses instead of lectures and classes. so before we actually go to school, we have to take 2 compulsory courses; Pengurusan asas gerko ( PAG) and practicum preparation course.  for this week we have to attend PAG. 

PAG is in Malay and of course the whole content is in Malay and we have to present in Malay. this is the first time ever i have to take subject in Malay as undergraduate student and i find it very hard to present the topics. of course i understand the content because obviosuly i'm a Malay. pure Malay. hehehe. but, since i only exposed to100%  English courses and never done anything in Malay, i find it tough. bukan nak berlagak atau lupa diri, but honestly, i cannot speak proper academic Malay. cakap Melayu memang boleh, slang Terengganu i pekat je okey, tapi kalau nak present memamhg kantoi .tak boleh cakap Melayu yang sesuai. same goes to my friends. it's funny because we sound very Indonesian. i dont think our friends from other courses present the way we present. they might have excellent Malay words to explain thing and i'm pretty sure they have accurate words to say their opinions. sampaikan lecturer tadi cakap dah macam bahasa mahkhamah presentation tadi.tak tahu nak guna bahasa skema or sempoi. sampaikan ada yang present bahasa sempoi macam cakap dengan kawan gitu kan. but, alhamdulillah she understands that this is our first presentation and Malay and i should say we did a good job.

during presentation, i struggled a bit la kot. i find it verrrrreeeeeyyyy hard to find the right words to say my point. until i went round and round to explain it in a very long sentence. then the lecturer said my point in a very short sentence and ask me was that what i mean. yes, i mean that but yeah, words wont simply come to your mind when you dont really use it. everybody laughed and it was embarrassing. really. but she said    'takpe, kita belajar, nanti ok la'. something like that.  lagi pun orang lain sama je. tengok la esok siapa lagi yang akan jadi mamat dan minah hendon nanti. hahahhaa

all in all, i just wanna say humbly, i cannot really write in proper Malay (bukan belagak ea), cannot speak right Malay, bahasa sempoi-sempoi boleh la. i've wrote in my previous post that i can't really speak to people formally because i'm not sure the level of the language i should use. yet, my English is not good either. it just that i prefer to write in English because if i write in Malay, it sound very bookish and pure Indonesian will come out from nowhere. ada keturunan Indon kot. hehehehe.
