Bandung Travelog: Day 1

before i actually went to Bandung, i wasn't quite sure whether or not my parent will allow me to go to Bandung because, well, my mum doesn't really allow me to travel far, and this time Indonesia some more. with all the tsunami and earthquake news telling that they strike on the other part of Indonesia, my mum would always has second though about this matter. fortunately, towards the end, my parent allowed me to join  my friends. they just worried that how i will survive. 'no worries mak, ayah. Angah dah travel some other countries and i can cope well. no worries, seriously'. however, their worry make sense because i'm a girl.

we departed from LCCT around 7 a.m Malaysia time. the flight took almost 2 hours.we touched down at Husein Sastranegara International Airport around 8 a.m Indonesia time. we bought the ticket last year and it was super cheap .RM100 something return. berbaloi-baloi. beli masa promotion. right after we checked-in, we headed to Pasar Baru. girls, you seriously go mad when you see all those awesome, super cheap tudung of all type, bersulam, berbatu, bermanik, cakap je. semua ada. kain sembahyang bersulam memamg sangat awesome. bak kata Aten, sulam sampai ke otak tau. harganya cuma Rp.175 000 ( RM 58.27). kalau kat Malaysia memang tak akan dapat yang bersulam tu kalau tak hulur at least RM 150. banyak la uga beli. jubah. tudung.t-shirt. pokoknya kain-kain la.

diluar Pasar Baru. tak sempat nak ambik gambar suasana dalam pasar baru sebab dah tak sedar diri membeli dengan lahap sekali.

penat sangat shopping sampai lapar. i ate this. Baso! diffeerent from what i usually ate in Johor. the smell of the chicken was strong. it's easy to get halal food in Bandung because most of the community are Muslim.based on my reading, we can just walk in in any 'kedai makan' because food are prepared by Muslim. however, food old by the road side is not really recommended.

i ordered manggo juice because i really like it. i though it's like what we always get in Malaysia. dan nak cakap, tetiba i noticed people didn't really ordered drinks because free hot tea were given to all customer. no sugar. they dont drink iced water as well. when my mango juice came, it wasn't manggo! it was kuini.boleh tahan nak tercekik juga la nak habis kan. it was like fresh kuini blended with no ice. mampu?
Kami naik ni. orang ni bawa. macam beca gitu. sempit sikit. sampai saya dan Izzati berlaga tulang sulbi duduk. hehehee

kesimpulannya, cuaca di Bandung rendah. when we landed, the temperature was 22 degree. Malaysia is 10 degree hotter. people in Bandung are not that poor. they spend alot as much as us do. Toyota cars widely used in Bandung and generally in Indonesia. orang Indonesia mempunyai kulit yang mulus. apa rahsia nya?

thank you for reading.
