May celebrations

It's Mayyy. Ye, baru nak sedar. Padahal dah 20 something of May. Just got back from Selangor. Well yea, photography job as usual. Today i went online and check my SPP interview result. I pass. Alhamdulillah.

In May, we celebrate two special days; Mother's Day and Teacher's day. None of these seems to be special for me yet. Hahaha. Not yet a mother, still in waiting list for teaching. Phew! Tapi hidup tak perlu gundah gulana, be awesome instead. We celebrated mother's day at home. Gave mum present and we had big makan-makan ;)

We have to appreciate our mother. The agony of pregnancy and giving birth is unbearable. She takes care of us when we are growing up. The only thing she wanted from us is be the one that make her proud. My mum ever said, if a child know how painful giving birth is, he/she will never ever hurt their mother's feelings. It has been said that the pain of giving birth is beyond a limit that a human can bare. Sebab tu mati sewaktu melahirkan anak merupakan mati syahid.

Even period pain is the worst pain I ever endure, I feel no blood on my face, the sweat running down from my forehead, I couldn't speak, could'walk, and all I want to do is sleep. The pain is not just around the stomach, you know, you could feel the unbearable pain in back bone, waist and hip. Almost all the time too, I got severe headache in that time that make me blacked out several times. PMS and period pain are just a tiny little thing compared to child birth. Giving birth is like hundred time of pain compared to period pain. My friend ever told me, " Rasa macam nak mati Fareha!" . That scared hell out of me. Sometimes, it's good to unfriend with married people. Hahahha. Kidding!!

Teacher's Day

Hurm, what to say eh? Hargai lah guru anda. Seriously kita memang kena respect guru kita macam kita respect parent kita. Sebab keberkatan ilmu yang kita pelajari tu bergantung kepada redha cikgu kita terhadap kita. Tengok gambar kat bawah ni, Aku just nak komen dua gambar terakhir, What I ready do. Speaking of which, since I already involve in this system, I know how it really works. From our bare sight, teaching seems to be very easy. Very easy huh? Kerja separuh hari. Really? Kat rumah sambung kerja lagi hoi. Weekend pun kena kerja. Unpaid okey on weekend. Tapi bagi aku, aku tak kisah asalkan orang hargai usaha aku untuk membantu diorang dan masyarakat jangan memperlekehkan kerjaya guru. Pretty please. 

Sebenarnya, memang ramai yang selalu memperlekeh kan kerja guru, cakap kerja guru senang. Kerja engineer susah gila. Ni contoh je okey. Tahu tak statistik  di Malaysia (berdasarkan ceramah y disampaikan oleh pegawai ipg urgh, i didn't remember but it was last year), 46% penghuni rumah sakit jiwa adalah penjawat awam, dan 60% daripada jumlah itu adalah guru. Sebab tu masa di IPG, teacher trainees wajib menhadiri kursus kesihatan mental. Penting tu. Kalau tak, jadi yang macam kita pernah dengar dulu, ada guru ketuk kepala student dengan heels. Geram sangat kot. Stress pun satu hal. Guru terpaksa buat banyak kerja clerking, sumpah tak tipu. Bukan mengajar je. Pelbagai polisi dibubar dan dilaksanakan, last-last cikgu juga yang terkial-kial nak laksanakan. Kadang-kadang, aku tengah makan, tengah mandi pun boleh fikir macam mana nak ajar budak-budak ni biar paham. Fikir macam mana nak control behavior diorang.  

Dan gambar last sekali is the most inspiring, posted by one of my seniors. And Why I do... Teaching is now considered as professional. Teaching dah diletak kan sebaris dengan other professionals dan kita lah pengerak negara, pemacu kemajuan negara. Wow! (bersemangat waja jap). How do we define professional? People who are trained in the context environment to  work in particular field. The scope of the work is specific. So, dalam transfomasi pendidikan sekarang (past 10 years), aim nya adalah untuk memartabatkan profesion perguruan. Sekarang nak jadi cikgu SPM perlu 7A keatas. Good job KPM and IPG.
