Uterine fibroid

last two weeks, my mother was admitted to the hospital and she was diagnosed as having fibroid tumor. i'm afraid to say much as i don't know what exactly it is. from the research that i have done, it's probably also referred as uterine fibroid. i say 'probably' because i'm saying this without any medical knowledge. i didn't go back to my house since i was in the middle of my practicum. if i on leave, i have to replace it which means i need to arrange some other time to replace the day. that's not gonna work because i gotta do lot more things right after i finish my practicum at school. too bad people. too bad. 

my younger brother did go back. he went to the hospital, talk to my mum. basically he knew what was going on. he did some research on that. well, he's very enthusiastic. why not? he's doing his bachelor of science and he's a 'science people' unlike me. he kept me updating with what was going on. he posted me what he found. according to him, my mother is not at the serious stage.based on the CT scan, doctor said it was..... i couldn't remember the term he told me, but my mother was not at the dangerous stage. alhamdulillah! thank God. but, she needs follow up treatments. 

my mum always got severe stomach ache. she couldn't walk, sometimes. always tired. based on the article my brother asked me to read, the tumor will gradually getting smaller or shrink or die, which i'm not sure how when a woman starts to menopause. as a woman start to menopause, her uterus starts to 'shrink' (sorry if i use the wrong term). the tumors would also shrink. the fibroid tumor occurs because of the imbalance of the hormone in the body. 

i called my mum, asking her condition. she asked me whether my brother has done his research on this. i told her that i already read everything about it. there is no evidence shows how this problem occurs. but for fore sure, fibroid tumors always found in unmarried women, those who get married late and those who have problem to get pregnant. 

mum: Din dah kaji ke pasal sakit mak ni?

me: dah. Angah dah baca semua pasal penyakit ni. punca dan cane boleh berlaku.

mum: dia cakap pe?

me: penyakit ni banyak berlaku  kat perempuan yang tak kahwin atau lambat kahwin. 

mum: habis tu awak nak kahwin la ni?

me: ???????. when the right person has come. hahahaha
