stepping beyond professional boundaries

salam
as far as i'm concerned, almost half of my readers are my fellow friends and juniors either from my college or other colleges. cece, bajet sangat banyak follower. padahal sikit je. heheehhehe. well, thanks for following me and not bored with the issues i brought in. since most of you are in the same profession with me, i'd like to bring an essential issue regarding to our professiona and personal life . actually, this issue is kinda broad. but i want to narrow it down into education field.

generally, as a worker or professional we cannot have personal connection with the people we serve. for example, a doctor can't have personal or intimate connection with his patient. they just can have doctor-patient relationship. so, the thing they talk and discuss should be around that. as for teacher, teacher can't have very close relationship with her students. the relationship should stop after teacher and students step out from the school. but it doesn't mean that you can't say hi when you bump at the Giant and so whatever.hahaha. what i mean here is like texting and having each other fb account are not really appropriate for some reasons. if you comment on your students fb, you are actually STEPPING BEYOND PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES. yes, as simple as that. i didn't make this up. this is the issue in one of the papers i took last semester. so, i have proves.

commenting on your students fb sometimes can make them feel intimidated and they have less freedom to express their feeling and though because they know someone is watching them furiously. kan?kan?.if i were the student, i HATE people stalking me. even if my friends do, i hate it as well.hahaha. that's why, i deleted my students in Auckland's fb. it's benefit both parties. i don't want them to know my social life beside being a teacher, and i don't wanna know theirs because i don't wanna know what they're doing too. let them grow up and let life come to them. let them do self-exploration. it's good for nowadays youngsters.

this might be one of the example of photos you don't want your students see.

okeh, rasanya tak lepas lagi apa yang saya maksudkan. tak puas hati!tak tau nak explain macam mana supaya you all can get what i'm really trying to say. tapi tak pelah, you got the essence right?

***
i miss rugby. heeeheee. the rugby league in NZ has started like last month. our juniors there keep posting their photos with my favourite players and how awesome it was being in Eden Park. i'm suffering! hahaha. i'm jelly! yet, we can still enjoy the games from Astro. but, the problem is...when i got home, i realised that my dad has terminated SUPERSPORT channel, leaving me have no idea where to watch rugby. kesian.but, it's not a big deal pun. Malaysia got rugby league too what? and i still can see on Arena sport. my brother playing for the league under ATM. at least, i have the focus. kekeke. takde la pulak minat players Malaysia so far. tapi my brother ada cakap there's a Kelantanese yang hebat main rugby kat Malaysia. ushar juga la mana satu. tak jumpa lagi yang mana satu. tapi kan, i PERSONALLY think, personally eh, i'm not generalising here..the players should be more cuter. so that, there will be more people would have positive attitude towards Malaysia rugby.

never imagine we actually had the photos of All Blacks players. during super rugby, we never knew who will be selected for All Blacks from Blues. they are Jerome Kaino, Isaia Toeava, Keven Mealamu and Ali William. me who bought the tickets was so satisfied because we got seat right at the players bench. dekat gila! mau tak pengsan kan?

masa kt airport on the way back to Malaysia for good, aku ada ternampak Keven Mealamu, so macam ohmaigad gitu kan. tapi tak boleh la excited sangat. semua orang cam relax je. aku pn relax la. bagi tahu kt Izzati. tapi tak tahu nak bagi tau macam mana. kalu sebut kan, nanti orang dengan and then i might sound so jakun. obviously kalau speaking semua orang faham which semua orang akan tahu kitaorang tengah jakun tengok Keven. even nak sebut rugbi pun BI dan BM sama bunyi nya. so just cakap..."weh, tengok sana. ada pemain!".."pemain apa". gila nak kontrol kan.hehehe.

last but not least, rugby might not be a thing that i want my students know that i loveee so much. Miss Fareha minat rugbi? so weird bunyi nya kan.huh
