Oh, dia ke?

Today we got a meeting with MSD officer, Dr Rosli bin Mohamed,Pengarah Jabatan Penuntut Malaysia (MSD) New Zealand.It was at 10.30 a.m but we must be there at 10.20a.m. Izzati and I were a bit late. We were still at HUIA at 10. So, we decided not to use the bridge. We walked down the street, so that we could arrive at Faculty of Engineering right after the street. As were walking, I saw three guys who were walking. I don't think they are Malaysian. They didn't look like Malaysian.So, we didn't bother about them. They were like laughing. One more thing, we were afraid to talk to stranger since we got the email from our residence manager about one of our friend from HUIA was attacked and he was seriously injured and having surgery soon. We were just looked at them. Then, one of them greeted us.

' Assalamualaiku'
'Waalaikummusalam'
'nak pergi meeting students Malaysia tu ke?'
'a'ah'
'kat mana yer?'
'dekat fac. engineering 1439'
'oh, kalau macam tu kitaorang follow je la''dekat mana tu?'
'entah la, kitaorang pun tak tahu'

Tiba-tiba nampak parking utk fac.of engineering.

'oh kat sini je'' saje je buat-buat tanya'

terdengar diaorang cakap macam tu. Aku menoleh kebelakang. Diaorang tergelak. The only thing in my mind was, they might be Ph.D students because they were about 40s. They wanted to follow us. But since they knew the faculty, Izzati and I walked very fast and left them behind. Later, we arrived at the hall and had a seat. After about 10 minutes, I saw three guys I met just now and they sat at the first line of the seat. Maybe sesat, i guess.Immediately after they sat, the president of Auckland Malaysian students association, Rich walked towards them and have a talk. From their conversation, I heard that guy said ' I arrived last night' or sort of thing. Suddenly I wondering who is he. He turned to us and smile very manis. Ada maksudnya?Kami pun tersenyum kambing. When the meeting started I just knew that HE IS DR. ROSLI...he came with his friends....OMG...OMG..OMG..OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG...Aku dengan Izzati dah bermuhasabah balik, adakah kitaorang kurang ajar dengan dia tadi? Tapi kitaoarng tak kurang ajar pun dengan dia, kitaoarng jawab apa yang dia tanya macam biasa je. Kitaoarng tinggalkan diaorang jalan sendiri. we didn't talk to them because we afraid to talk to stranger. One more thing, they were very casual ;with polo and jeans. So, no wonder we didn't aspect them as the one who were going to give the talk today. Nasib baik Dr, Rosli tahu kitorang students baru. Tapi kena perli jugak la masa dia sampaikan speech. Adui, terkena batang hidung betul. Dia siap tengok kat kitaorang. Nasib baik tak tunjuk je mana satu. Aku rasa dia sje je nak menduga ktaorang masa dia tanya pasal tempat tu. Takkan dia tak tahu tempat tu sedangkankan dia yang uruskan students kat sini. Tapi ape pun, Dr. Rosli memang best, sempoi habes. Speech dia kelakar dengan lawak2 kering. Kalau lah kitaorang tahu dia tu Dr. Rosli mesti kitaorang awal2 lagi dah tegur dia dulu dan cakap2 dengan dia. Tapi nak buat camna, x tahu. So, no offence. Lepas makan, Izzati ajak gi uni sebab dia nak withdraw money. Sekali lagi jumpa dengan dua orang kawan Dr. Rosli dari arah bertentangan. Malu rasanya. Diaorang tersenyum dengan lebar sekali. Okey. pasrah.

Moral of the story: Kita tak tak tahu dengan siapa kita becakap. sO, watch out ur words. Tapi kitaorang tadi tak terkurang ajar pun dengan dia. Orang bertanya kitaorng jawab je. Cuma tak bercakap beria sebab takut.
